Wet & Wild!!!

It has been getting so HOT here lately. It seems that day after day we get the same dry heat. The boys have been having a blast playing with their water slide and the pool. Even running through the sprinklers now and then seems to do a pretty good job of cooling them off. Chase and Colby love the slide, but it seems to be a bit too much for Cooper. I guess He'll just stick to the pool and the sprinklers.

Yard Work

This past week has been so hectic that I haven't had time to do some of the yard work and watering. Luckily Brian has been keeping up on it. I guess He doesn't want all the money we spent on the yard to be a total waste :) It takes about an hour, sometimes longer, every night to get it all watered. And the only Diligent helper that we have in our family is Cooper. No job seems to be too much for this little tike to tackle. Watering or weeding, He is right in there helping out. He wanted a pair of gloves like mine for weeding, but decided that He doesn't like the way they feel. Either that or He just loves getting dirty :) We are so lucky to have a full time landscaper in house.

He's Here!! Finally

We are so excited to finally meet our brand new baby boy. 4 boys, how lucky can a mom get. I just love boys and we definately know what makes them tick. Carter Carl Berlin arrived Monday, June 16th at 10:02AM. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 8 oz. and was 20" long. He has dark brown hair around the back and the sides. There is some on top also, but it's a little skimpy. (Actually He has more hair than most babies do, but He is our baldest yet.) He has the cutest little dark brown sideburns. He reminds me alot of Cooper when He was born. I have loved the name Carter for a long time, and was quite surprised when Brian said we could name Him that if I wanted to. Carl is after my Grandpa Blanchard. He is such a wonderful Grandpa to me as well as to my kids. We all adore him. He is getting older these days and it doesn't take much to bring on the waterworks. When I told Him that we were giving Carter the middle name of Carl, He could hardly contain himself. We feel so blessed to be this little ones parents. All the boys absolutely love Him, especially Cooper. He has told everybody for the past 2 days that his mom "got the baby out" and that "my love my baby!" It is so cute.

Happy Birthday Brian!

Happy Birthday to you,

Happy Birthday to you,

Happy Birthday dear Brian,

Happy Birthday to you!

Today Brian turned 28 years old, the boys could not wait to give him his presents. They were more excited than he was! On Friday we went gift hunting and found some fun things. 20 minutes after we got home Chase and Colby told Brian everything we had just bought him! Brian still acted surprised for my sake when he opened the presents:) After church everyone came over for a BBQ. Here are some pics!

Micheal, Shaurie and Glen bought Brian this Gun holster. He has been wanting one for a really long time. Now all he needs is a cowboy hat and boots!
We fixed BBQ chicken wings and Cooper went crazy over them. He kept saying "My love these" "these are dood(good)" it was so funny! He ate more that anyone.

Chase had fun playing cowboys and outlaws! He wants a holster like Dad's. He didn't want to take it off!
Cooper had fun taking McKinlee for rides on his four wheeler. She couldn't get enough! Usually it's Cooper who is begging for rides on the four wheelers, but not today!
It was a fun day, I hope you had a great birthday, you deserve it! You're the best and we love you lots!
