Happy Birthday Dad!

Today is my Dad's 52nd Birthday! So I thought that I would write a few things about my Dad.
He can fix anything, really He can! It doesn't matter what it is, He can fix it. Brian claims that He can make things work, but that that doesn't mean they are fixed, but I disagree. Whenever I get a broken washing machine or dishwasher or anything that's not working properly (I can be a little rough on appliances), I call my Dad and He works on it till it works again. It might not be the right way, but it always works. Some of my fondest memories I have with my Dad are riding horses, He loves horses. I loved it when We would take our horses swimming in the pond or riding in the arena, He would watch us for hours! He used to play catch with Me and my sister till it got dark. He also has quite a talent for singing. I remember when I was in school He would always come into my bedroom to wake me up and be singing the silliest songs, it was so annoying back then, but it sure makes me laugh now. He has the funniest sense of humor! Thanks Dad for all the great memories! I love you lots and I cherish the times we spend together. I hope you have a Happy Birthday, you Deserve it!!

Brian said that He is sure his rope is caught on the fence in this picture, but I'm almost positive there is a nasty Bull on the other end of the line that He just took down :)

Rainy Day Fun!

Today has been a windy, rainy kind of day. So Chase thought it would be fun to dress up in old Halloween costumes. The Boys had a ball and I loved snapping pictures of how cute they looked! Here's some pictures for ya'll! Cooper is in the monster costume. Notice how small it is? Its size is an 18-24 months, but He didn't care! He was so excited when he finally got it on!
Here's Cooper, in the dog costume He wore on his very first Halloween, its a 12 month size. I told him it was for babies and he started to cry, It took 15 minutes just to get it on Him. After we got it on, He told me that He wants to be the puppy for Halloween this year. I sure hope He forgets about it by then, Even though he's way to big, he's still so gosh darn cute in it! Cooper is so much fun!

We have so much fun together! I'm so thankful for my little Boys!

Here's Carter sleeping through all the fun. He is so cute

Naughty Naughty Boys!!!

This is our brand new trampoline (we set it up Saturday), pretty nice huh, well was nice!

Yesterday Chase, Colby, and Cooper were pretty bored and hot, so they asked if they could please put the sprinkler under the tramp and I said sure, go ahead. (I should mention we were having our vinyl fence installed by a friend of ours.) Well about 10 minutes later this friend came to the door and asked me if it was okay for my boys to be drilling holes in our new trampoline. I thought He was kidding, but when He informed that he was not, I stormed out the door to see what He was talking about and this is what I found! No boys, just a drill and holes in the mat, I was so mad! I finally found the boys hiding out in the playhouse. They were afraid I would be mad at them so they ran and hid. So, when I asked them why in the world (My speech may or may not have been that clean, I can't remember, I was mad:) they would drill holes in the tramp they explained that when they put the sprinkler under the trampoline and that the water didn't get them that wet, so they thought if they drilled holes in the tramp that the water would shoot up at them better, It was all I could do not to laugh. They thought that it was quite a clever idea! Too bad they didn't get to see if it worked! Or atleast it will be another 2 weeks before they get to find out:)

One Month Old!

Today Carter is one month old. We can hardly believe that He is a month old already. He is getting bigger each day. He is starting to hold his head up and Smile at us. He is the noisiest baby I have ever heard, He coos and grunts non stop. He never really fusses, just grunts and groans constantly. He is such a good baby and so happy all the time. He's just the cutest little thing. I'm so thankful for Him and the joy He brings to our home, We love you Carter.

Who's a Man?

For the past week, Colby has been waking up early and going to work with Brian so that He can earn some money. Brian has Him dump garbages, Vacuum the break room and offices, wipe the dust off of everything, (Which let me tell you, can be a full time job in itself.) and any other little odd jobs He can find. Alot of stuff seems to accumulate at the shop, and instead of Brian telling Colby to throw it in the garbage (where most of it belongs), He tells Colby that He can take it home. And Colby just loves all the little treasures He gets to bring home. Mostly they are just hats, but this week there has been a thermos, a mug, a wallet, and an ever so coveted Swiss Army Knife. Well yesterday I picked up Brian and Colby for lunch. Colby started showing Chase and Cooper all the things he had found. I could tell they were just a bit jealous of all the junk Colby had. So we got lunch and headed to the park. We were all visiting and eating when out of the blue Chase says... "I don't feel like a man!" The rest of the conversation was as follows...

Brian: That's because you're not a man, you're just a boy.

Chase: Well Colby's a man.

Brian: How do you figure?

Chase: (Counting with his fingers) Well, He's got a wallet, He's got a pocket knife, He's got a job!!

And then We all started laughing. Even Chase realized how funny it sounded after he said it. Brian told him that He could come and work for the afternoon if he wanted to. So Chase went and worked for the afternoon. Chase wasn't as thrilled with his finds as He was Colby's, but the money made it worth it. I hope He feels like a man after His hard afternoon at work:)

-side note- Brian said that both boys actually worked their little butts off everytime they were there. Any time He told them something to do, they did it, did it quickly, and did it pleasantly. I guess the key to making great workers, is to have a treasure chest full of junk for them to go through when they are done.

I WANNA BE A ROCKSTAR!

Rockband Rocks, it's our new favorite nightly entertainment. Chase is almost always the singer and he's quite good at it. He's so fun to watch. He does all kinds of moves he's so entertaining! Brian's the drum player he is an expert drum player I get a kick out of watching them! (TOGETHER THEY BRING THE HOUSE DOWN). Colby and Cooper play the guitars but halfway through the song they disappear! And I'm their biggest fan! Here's the video of them playing I hope Brian doesn't kill me for posting this but I just had to! Enjoy:)

The Berlin Family Reunion

Our 4th of July weekend was a blast, Our Family (Glen & Kathy on down) was in charge of the Berlin Family reunion this year and decided the 4th would be a great weekend to do it. It was so much fun. On Thursday before everybody came, We tie-dyed t-shirts for the little kids. We were going to do it during the reunion, but decided it might be a little hard and messy. So Brian, Brad, Kathy, Lorraine, Me and the boys all did them. They turned out so cute. The shirts had all the Berlin cousins on them with little stick figures and each kids names on them. The kids all loved them and Chase, Colby, and Cooper had the most fun dying them as you can see!

Aunt Shaurie baby sat while I helped the boys. She loves to just sit and hold Carter and He loves being held! (I think I've already spoiled him with holding him all the time!)

Don't all the cousins look so adorable in their tie dyed shirts!
(notice Cooper!!! He was mad that He didn't get to hold Carter!)

Now He's happy;) He wasn't going to smile unless He had His baby! he loves kissing him!
(what a sweetie)

Carter in his shirt! He is so cute, it was a size 6 month and it fit him so well. He's already getting so big. I wish they could just stay small forever! (or atleast a little longer than they do)

I had to add this. I just love little feet. these are Cooper's and Carter's, oooh so sweet!

Great Grandma Berlin with the grandkids! All dressed for the 4th!

The Fireworks show was definately the Highlight of the reunion for the kids. There is just something awesome about Fire and Fireworks in the eyes of boys isn't there?
Carter didn't know what to think of the fireworks! Isn't he just the cutest!
