My Carter!!

These bottom pictures are compliments of Colby. He loves taking pictures of his baby.

Well I thought I would do a little bit of journaling so that I don't forget these things a year from now. Carter is 8 months old and is getting so big. He started scooting all around at 7 months and now at 8 months He is crawling everywhere and is getting quite fast. He weighed 17 lbs. 8 oz. at his last visit on February 13th. He waves goodbye and has started clapping. He loves to play patty cake. He got His 2 front bottom teeth at the same time around 6 months, and his 2 front top teeth have just popped through. He is such a fun and happy baby. He is so adventurous, Anytime the door opens, He races to get outside. We can not wait for summer to be here.

What is it with Kids and Dog Food?

Seriously, What's with that? Carter has been getting around pretty good for the past several weeks and has finally gotten fast enough to get himself into trouble before anyone else knows what is going on. He is constantly trying to get into the washroom, and why you ask.... Well I thought it was to get to the vacuum. He loves it when I vacuum and chases me around the house while I clean. Well tonight while I was doing dishes, we found out the real reason why He tries to get to the washroom. The doog food. I seriously don't understand it. Every single one of my kids has eaten dog food. And the sad part is, it really doesn't seem so disgusting to them. I give them a new food to try and the most horrible faces are made, but a piece of dog food puts this pleasing smile on their face. I don't know, I give up.

After the Dog Food Dinner - I thought it might be easier to bath him in the sink - and I was right, it was. He seemed to love it too!! Isn't He so cute!!

Something Old, Something New...

A couple of weeks ago I went and got this old desk out of the shed. I bought it a few years back at a yard sale and never really had a spot for it. Well lately Cooper has been really into learning. He loves doing ABC's, counting and coloring. So I decided that He needed a little work space and brought in the desk. He absolutely loves it. He spends a lot of time everyday at His Desk "working"! He is so ready for preschool and can hardly wait.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I love Valentine's Day. Period!! It is one of my favorite holidays. It was so fun this year to have everyone together on a Saturday and just spend some quality family time. We made chocolate covered strawberries and cherries in all their varieties. We made some valentine's Chex mix for everyone and just had an overall fun and relaxing day. Brian took me out to a romantic dinner on Friday night. It was so nice to get away even if it is a few hours. The kids had a blast at home with Michael & Shaurie - everyone except Carter that is, He can be quite the momma's boy. Then on Saturday night everyone came over for a Babyback Rib BBQ. It was delicious.

I made up some clues for the boys and sent them on a Valentine's Day Treasure Hunt throughout the house in search of their Valentines. They were pretty tricky clues, but we have some very clever boys and they found them in no time.

What better place to hide treasure than in a treasure chest. I also had some valentine's shirts made for me and the boys. Mine said "I heart Brian" He thought it was quite dorky - so I made it a point to wear it everywhere for the day, love ya babe!!

Chase's Birthday Party!

I've been meaning to post this for awhile now - but life has been hectic. Chase had a sleepover this year with his 2 best friends. Colby and Cooper also got to invite McCoy over for the big bash. We had a movie theatre themed party. Chase loved the popcorn bucket cake. We had pizza and all the boys got their own bucket full of popcorn and movie snacks. They watched Heavyweights. Everyone had a blast. I'm not sure if any of them ever even went to sleep. It was a fun night. Happy Birthday Chase - We hope your day was great. We Love You!!
