What a Day!!!

When I first recieved the e-mail with this picture attached, I laughed and laughed!!! But after yesterday and being able to realize the seriousness of such an incident, it's not quite as funny. I'll explain... Yesterday after I picked up Colby, We pulled into the Church parking lot to drop off my cousins little girl. We were there a few minutes visitng with my cousin. As I was pulling out, I Heard yelling to stop at about the same time a backpack came sliding down my windshield and 2 little legs dangled over the side trying to get back into the car. Apparently while I was talking, Colby had climbed out of his car window and on to the roof. I guess he thought he was pretty cool up there, until the car started to move. We were both pretty traumatized by the whole ordeal. I yelled at him the entire way home trying to figure out what he was thinking. Will we every know what goes on in a little boys head??? I called Brian and told him the story and He just laughed. He told me that all he could envision was the E-mail of that little screaming boy on the hood. It wasn't funny I told him, Not funny at all!!!

My LIL COOP!

We went camping over the 24th of July and the boys were playing a good old fashion game of hide and seek. This is one of my favorite pictures. Cooper thought He was so hidden behind this tree. Everytime he hid, it looked like this. He would just pick a new tree. He was so hilarious, He really thought no one would find him!
While we were camping, Brian taught Cooper to ride his bike with no training wheels. It didn't take him very long to learn! He loves riding his bike more than ever now!

School Days Are Here Again!

I have been dreading this day all summer. I was so not looking forward to school starting. Every year I have a hard time when school starts. I think that it is because every year they get a little bit older and I realize they are no longer babys. That is extremely hard for me. I really miss my boys being home with me. I know I'm kind of a boob. Most moms can't wait for their kids to go to school, but I really hate it when they have to go back. Chase is no longer in the elementary. I can't believe he is in middle school. He is growing up too fast. So far he really likes the school. He got a really good teacher. He was so nervous His first day, but now I think He's got the hang of things! Colby is now in second grade. He is going to be in middle school before I know it. He also got a good teacher. Anyone who knows Colby knows that he wears his hat everywhere he goes. To bed, in the tub, everywhere!!! So he is having a hard time adjusting to not wearing his hat. He puts it in his bag and as soon as He hits the doors at the school, it is out and back on his head! He is too funny:) Yesterday his class went swimming. He had a blast swimming with his friends! I am having loads of fun with Coop and Carter. They are so entertaining I think Cooper is glad the boys are back in school, I asked him if He misses the boys and he said No!! A few days after school let out, back in May, He said to me, "Mom, when do the boys go back to school?" I said in August, why are you ready for them to go back? and He said Yes I wish they had school! lol! They looked so handsome on the first day as you can see.

I hope you boys have a great school year! I love and miss you!

Hogle Zoo

While we were in Salt Lake for the weekend, we also went to the zoo! We went to the bird show which was the best part of the whole day. I would would definately do the bird show if you go to the zoo, my boys loved it. It was hilarious, at the end of the show they tell you if you donate money to the zoo, the little parrot will take your money. So of course the boys wanted to donate it was pretty cute watching the boys give the little bird their money. It was a great weekend. I hope you boys had a great weekend before school started, I know I sure did!

Swimming Lessons

I have seriously tried to sign my kids up for swimming lessons for the past two summers and everytime I remembered to do it, they have been all filled up. So this summer I decided I would go at 6:30AM and stand in line, and guess what? We got signed up. The kids had a ball. they got to go swimming everyday. Chase even passed level 2 and he has had no swimming lessons before. I signed up Coop, but he was kind of a boob about the whole thing. He cried and cried, so he ended up quiting and staying with Lorraine everyday. Thanks Lorraine!!! Carter and I ended up doing the mommy and me. He loves the water. He had so much fun. I am glad that I signed up for the mommy and me so I could spend some one on one time with my baby. His favorite part about swimming was the I'm a little flapjack song. He would laugh and laugh, He still laughs when I sing it. He loves that song. He also loved motor boat motor boat. On the last day of swimming lesson, I was just walking around in the water and Carter just laid his head down on my shoulder and he fell right asleep. The instructor said she has never had a baby fall asleep like that in the water. I guess he was all worn out, it was so cute!
